CSIR-SRI END OF YEAR STAFF DURBAR

December 25, 2021

The Acting Director together with staff at CSIR-Soil Research Institute (SRI) at Kwadaso, Kumasi has ended the year with a staff durbar which created the opportunity for staff to socialize, access their performance of work for the year 2020 and to have an outlook for the coming year.

Dr, Edward Yeboah, the acting Director of CSIR-Soil Research Institute (SRI) in a brief statement, appreciated staff for the demonstration of hard work and team spirit during the past year which ensured the achievement of the Service’ performance targets for 2020. He also praised the Heads of Departments for their professionalism which he believed was the primary factor that encouraged the entire staff to give off their best.

He encouraged those who were not up to speed in terms of job performance to measure up and improve upon their performance in the coming year. He ended with a note to staff to be cautious during the festive season and to take very good care of themselves.

Staff expressed their profound gratitude to the acting Director at the institute and other colleagues for making year 2020 a success. Other issues considered critical for the progress of the Soil Research Institute (SRI) was also deliberated upon.

Fraternity messages from Trade Union Congress (TUC), SRI- Senior Staff Association (SRI-SSA), etc. made the event a memorable one.
