MANDATE

  • Develop a communication plan /package to reach out to all key stakeholders

  • Enhanced visibility, Increased and expanded client base and increased IGF

  • Unit Established

  • Increase communication with Select Committee, Civil Society, Communities and Industry

  • Launch a comprehensive media campaign, e.g., Bill Boards, website, active social media platforms -Facebook/Twitter

  • Build capacity of scientists/technologists on effective media engagement, to comment on national, regional mandate-relevant issues of importance in the media

  • Organize or participate in public events bordering on SRI mandate – open day, exhibitions, farmer field days, public lectures, scientific renaissance day, World Soils Day, Farmers Day
