Our Mission

The CSIR-Soil Research Institute is a public sector research institution that has been established by Ghana government to generate scientific information and technologies for planning, development and management of the soil resources  of Ghana for increased and sustainable agriculture, industry and environmental quality.

The strength of the CSIR-Soil Research Institute lies in its well -trained, dedicated and experienced staff, who adopts multidisciplinary approach, scientific excellence, breadth and depth of scientific and technological skills, to generate high quality, holistic and innovative solutions to clients in sustainable soil resources management.

Vision

The  Institute is consciously working towards becoming the Centre of Excellence in research and development of tropical soils resource for sustainable agriculture and environmetal quality.
